Support Groups

In-Person and Online Support Groups

A wide variety of support groups are available. These are free, safe and confidential groups that meet in-person or online in a safe, secure environment.

The support groups listed below meet monthly and offer empathy, encouragement, support, coping skills and understanding.

Active Support Groups

Cost: Free

Dates: 1st Thursday of Every Month

Time: 7:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m.

Goals of Support Group:

  • Acknowledge survivor’s pain in a safe environment
  • Encouragement from others who have lost a loved one
  • Teach healthy coping skills

Support groups can help individuals build and strengthen their social support networks, which is crucial for mental well-being.

Participants can connect with others who have faced similar challenges, leading to a sense of understanding and validation.
