
Tonie Long
CEO
Tonie attended the The Ohio State University, where she first discovered her passion for mental and emotional wellness. She went on to complete a Masters of Education degree in Guidance and Counseling at the University of Toledo, and has served the mental health needs of the four-county area for the past 35 years.

Angie Abels
Director of Finance & Administration
Angie received an Associate’s Degree from Stautzenburger College in Business Administration in 1993. She has over 20 years of experience in finance and loves working with numbers. She worked for Defiance County as a Deputy Auditor for 10 years. This position gave her expertise in government and public finance.

Bethany Shirkey
Director of Quality Improvement
Bethany received her Bachelor degree in Social Work and Psychology from Bluffton University. She began her work in mental health as a Case Manager and a Prevention Program Coordinator before moving to the Board in 2019. Bethany enjoys working with the Four County ADAMhs Board affiliated providers to help ensure residents have easy access to quality mental health, substance use and crisis services.

BJ Horner
Manager of Community Services
BJ has her Associates degree in Criminal Justice, her Bachelors in Organizational Management, and she has been working in the mental health field since 2013. BJ works in the community to raise awareness of mental health, substance use, suicide and the resources available to help residents of the four-county community.

Lisa Jones
Project Manager
Lisa has degree in Human Services and loves working with people and supporting the community. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to work with various organizations, gaining valuable experience and building strong connections. She enjoys learning new things, meeting new people, and finding ways to make a positive impact through her work.
